Contrary to what you might think, self-care isn't just all about you. It's also about the people around you: your friends, family, co-workers and neighbors. When you take care of you and prioritize time for yourself, you can be better and that includes how you treat others.
If you're not already setting aside time DAILY for self-care, I challenge you to start with 5 minutes per day. Starting NOW.
Another challenge we face as women is finding the time to get our move on. And I don't mean dance moves. I'm talking about workouts, friend.
The American Heart Association recommends 150 minutes per week of moderate intensity exercise for women, and in case you haven't already heard: heart disease is the biggest threat to us ladies.
Start moving. It'll make you feel better.
